I am playing with a PHP framework in a sandbox. It is not useful! Because when I see the monster frameworks, mine is a lame. Let's see, all I can say is that I was trying to build a Client/Server paradigm where after the DB extraction(back end/Server) is done, the data is send to the browser(front end/Client). The browser can painlessly generate the DOM's content with the helper js. Lets see, this is what ended up as my base to move on!

I have tried RoR and CakePHP, they are very neat.

I like OOPs only if it's well planned, likes procedural programming, and understand that the base of the application is it's DB design.

I do not like too much of gadgets and whistles even if they come in bundle.
I like to know where my chickens are and where they should lay eggs.

There are many monitoring tools with just ability of pings and metric measurements.

Install here and serve all servers, with ability to see what processes are extensive on memory, IOs etc. can be captured as well. Monitoring data flow and logging the process flow of these data in a enterprise business domain as well is a big possibility.
